lately

i love the 1000 journals project and the new book has just come out. it's too bad i never got to participate, but i can't wait to check out the book. i am kind of worn off about the idea of signing up for traveling journals. i remember signing for ones, but they never made it to me. oh well. sorry to sound so discouraging...

on etsy, a few weeks ago, my zine was picked to be in a treasury and then, the treasury made it onto the front page for a few hours! :) that was pretty cool, to see zines on the front page and my zine along with them.

heat wave and journal pages

a heat wave has hit SF. today's weather was in the mid 70s, which is definitely considered hot for san francisco - we're usually in the 50s and 60s and foggy...so my usual outfit of jeans and a long sleeve shirt were much too warm for today. i think daylight savings also made me feel more tired.

besides that, school is making me way too busy. i have two essays to write & a midterm to study for and i have to look up info for a research paper..how fun.

on sunday, me and my cousin did our art journaling together. it's fun to sift through scraps and look at each other's work. she also altered a tin that she's going to give to a friend.

busy

lately i've been busy with schoolwork. writing papers, studying for quizzes and tests. there's no time for the fun stuff really. i am also a procrastinator, which doesn't help at all...

today i did have time to relax and i made these two collages, which i have posted up on my etsy shop .
