craftaluma

this afternoon, i headed up to petaluma for the first annual craftaluma held by the petaluma craft mafia with Carol of quirkynberkley and robyn of handcranked. there were a bunch of cccoe members (a CA street team on etsy) who were vending at the event so i was eager to meet them :)




erika of oishii knits makes wonderfully cozy and colorful knit hats, bibs and blankets for babies. i love that the two knit plushies she has made have hearts for mouths.


wendy of buttercupbloom sews up adorable plushies - ripe for the picking are peaches, blueberries, radishes and rays of sunshine.


wrenay of shopwhimsy and wrenphoto has an intriguing and delicate mix of photography, mixed media collage, jewelry and soft plush birds.


may of ohmay makes lovely knit brooches, scarves and collars.

windows and doors chunky book

I hosted a windows and doors chunky book swap at atcsforall.com and after all the artwork was finally received, and i would be able to sort out the returns, i thought it would be fun to have an online gallery of the work.

issuu - self publishing online

last night i found a website called issuu.com, which allows you to upload a pdf document of your work and it will convert the file and make it like a magazine.

back from peru

its been 3 weeks in peru - which has been amazing, i ate a ton of yummy food, explored the streets of lima, took a train and climbed up to see machu picchu, flew on a little airplane to see the nasca lines, took a boat out to see the Ballestas Islands - where birds and penguins and sea lions live. i am making a zine soon about this trip...
i got back on sunday and on monday started summer school. luckily the time difference is minimal so i had little jetlag since i slept on the plane.
