i've long admired many of the fabulous books published by chronicle books, which is a company based here in san francisco. they've published the Griffin and Sabine series by Nick Bantock as well as many excellent art, craft and design books.

The Chronicle store in the Metreon just had a closing sale--I got a haul of stuff at 75% off! But they didn't have these beauties you want. Thanks for sharing this--I may try to list my favs on my blog too.

I love Chronicle Books. Almost anytime I buy something in a store - it is always a Chronicle book. I miss going to the Metreon too - to buy books.

I love your blog, your beautiful collages, and your book choices. Thank you for being the first to point to the Chronicle drawing; I came in a little late last night.
