tea for two, two for tea {crown & crumpet}
Crown & Crumpet is a tea room located in San Francisco's Ghiradelli Square. It was my first time there and I went with my sister, Anna. I love the British and vintage inspired space and the whole shop is beautifully decorated with glass jars of candy and vintage floral wallpaper. The floors are checkerboard pink, i also loved that on the walls were vintage signs that say 'tea merchant' and 'luncheonette.' They also have a pretty gift shop in the corner, with tea cups and other tea related merchandise. I had a fun and relaxing time here & service was really friendly and efficient. i drank tons of tea and ate nearly everything except for a few of the desserts. by then, i was full from all that tea!
behind the counter are cannisters filled with fine loose-leaf tea sold by the ounce. i had a large pot of strawberry oolong tea and really loved it!
a purely decorative (fake) cake, used for birthday parties held at crown & crumpet.
a tower of sweets, mostly in the marshmallow family. very colorful and decorative.
my sister anna, reading all about the scandalous life of the duchess of windsor.
more pretty candy...
tea for two - trays of tiny sandwiches, scones and sweets.

Cute! I love their teacups and teapot!
You find the cutest places, Annie! I'm probably going to be out in the bay area this spring. Maybe we can get together!
Haven't visited here before, but here you have visited a favorite tearoom of mine. It is so colorful and fun, light spirited.
Fantastic. As always I am equally impressed with your photographic eye as I am with your subject.
Aw. It's so cute in there!
