coffee table mail art marathon
sometimes i wind up watching tv all day while making mail art all day. i use all (mostly) dry supplies - gluestick, ink pads, stamps, and papers. if i do mixed media collage it gets way too messy so i mostly keep to it upstairs in my attic room. i've been having a mini marathon of My So-Called Life, since it only lasted one season, i was way too little to know about the show when it first aired but now i have the dvds and it's definitely one of my all time favorite shows.
i decided on a whim to create stationery sets out of giant manila tags by embellishing them with postage stamps and rubber stamps. then i bundled them into baker's twine. i think all papers always look better bundled up into cheerful red & white baker's twine. i need to take more photos but i hope to have them up in the shop soon.
